Who are we? We are a different outlook on the Internet. Here at Odion Designs, we believe in a simpler design for the web. There is still a large community that belongs to the Internet that is still on standard dial-up, and we must still design web pages for that. Text based design, low level or few images, will help you to cater to those customers on dial-up you want to reach.
How do we do that? Using a combination of Cascading Style Sheets (CSS), Hyper Text Markup Languages (HTML), Personal Homepage Tools (PHP), and Java allows for quick loading pages. You can create allot of fancy effects using these tools, and if you do it correctly, it can be done cross platform. Ensuring that all your customers see the same page, the same way, regardless of which browser they my be using.
To ensure that your page belongs completely to you, we create all of our graphics specific to you from scratch. Here is a sample listing of some of the tools we use to do that.
a simple text based graphic editor used to design photo realistic images. It takes allot of patience and time to learn, but once you get the basics of it, you can start to create some fairly impressive images, including the Odion Designs Logo seen on the upper left of this web page.
one of the best graphic editing tools available on the market today. A must for any graphic editor. It allows for many quick and functions changes to any image.
a shareware text editor with many excellent features including; syntax recognition, spell check, multiple document selector, and publishing capabilities. We use this as our main web page designer/editor. That's right boys and girls, we do everything text based.
TextPad and POV-Ray are both free download at there respective web sites. Adobe Photoshop however is only available as a purchased item, and can be found at most retail software stores
Why am I telling you all this? well that's easy, how is an industry to grow if people don't share there general knowledge. At the same time, we know that there are an awful lot of people out there who you rather leave such tasks to professionals. We hope to serve both sides of that coin
